Amiens Cathedral overlooks the River Somme in Amiens, France. The cathedral is the tallest in France and was built between 1220 and 1270 - it’s famous labyrinth was installed 1288. Amiens Cathedral is home to the alleged head of John the Baptist, loot brought back to the area after the Fourth Crusade. In 1990 it was discovered that the western facade of the building was originally painted in bright colours - the recreations of this look wonderful!

The 6 inch diameter roundel is framed with lead and hung with trace chain. Gift boxed with enclosed window suction hanger.
